    MISSION

    ABOUT RYAN

    ABOUT RYAN

The Mission of Ryan Leitner Golf Academy is to provide Player Development Programs tailored to the individual as there is no "Universal Method" to teach every golfer. This allows the student to maximize potential, improvement, confidence, competitiveness, enjoyment, and longevity playing the Great Game of Golf.

    TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

    TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

    TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

As a PGA Professional, it is my assumed responsibility to aid the golfer in comprehending the components of a successful golf game. This is completed through a coaching style that combines the physical element of the game along with the mental approach to the game. The key attributes of a successful golf instructor include knowledge of the golf swing, communication with the student, motivation, and the ability to correctly diagnose swing flaws. Every individual who decides to learn the game of golf is different in their physical attributes, biomechanics, and athletic ability. As a result, there is no one correct method of teaching every student.

    TEACHING APPROACH

    TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

    TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

The student and the instructor must begin by assessing the student’s expectations, goals, level of commitment, strengths, weaknesses, and physical limitations. Following a review of the proper fundamentals, it is the professional’s job to identify key areas of need and work with basic elements of the swing, along with practice drills to attain muscle memory. Once this is completed, the student can begin to improve their score, as well as their enthusiasm for the game. The best results can be achieved by not only individual instruction, but video analysis, drills, use of training aids, playing lessons, custom club-fitting, and functional movement programs.

    V1 SPORTS PRESSURE MAT

DATA ANALYSIS FOR GROUND REACTION FORCES TO MAXIMIZE BALL-STRIKING CONSISTENCY & POWER

V1 SPORTS PRESSURE MAT Powered by BodiTrak

    • The V1 Sports Pressure Mat powered by BodiTrak is the world’s most powerful and portable solution which provides instant data feedback that maps a golfers balance, weight transfer, and vertical force which leads to more consistent ball striking and power from Ground Reaction Forces throughout the entire golf swing. It measures three key areas which include:
    • 1. Center of Pressure: Average location of all Golfer Pressure while they stand and move
    • 2. Velocity: Relative value of the golfer pressing down at any given time either standing or moving
    • 3. Dynamic Vertical Force: Speed measured laterally and heel to toe during thegolfers swing (centimeters per second).
    • · This technology is beneficial for golfers of all abilities from beginners to tour players
    • · Remember that each individual golfer is different in their physical make-up: height, weight, arm length, leg length, shoulder width, foot size, strength, flexibility and may have physical limitations. With that being said, there is no one correct method or swing to teach every golfer. There are three Ground Force Types: “Rotator’s”, “Jumper’s”, and “Hybrid’s”. The Pressure Mat Data Analysis coupled with Video Analysis will determine which Ground Reaction Forces Pivot is "Natural" for "You" to generate the most Consistency & Power!!!
